New Year is just round the corner and the hostel is full of guests celebrating Hogmanay. We enjoyed a few days off over Christmas and the chance to spend time with family and friends. There was even a bit of snow, just enough to build a very small snowman!
We are looking forward to 2017. For us the early part of the year will see the completion of our new drying room and the internal redecoration of the hostel. Not that we will be resting on our laurels after that though! With all this work done we’ll be spending time on promoting the hostel and its facilities. And, as the weather allows, we have an enormous pile of logs waiting to be split and plenty of outside work on the hostel and in the garden to keep us out of mischief!
And, until our peak season starts at Easter, we’ll be making the most of our Tuesdays off and quieter days to get out and about walking, cycling and cinema-going.
We are delighted that we are already beginning to get online bookings for next Spring, and they will no doubt increase once we get into January and people start to think about next year’s holidays. We’re looking forward to seeing our regulars again next year and showing them all the improvements we have made to the hostel.
