New Year is just a few hours away and this year we have the Glasgow Glenmore Club staying at the hostel. Brave souls that they are, they have headed out into the rain this morning but will be back to dry out in time for their Hogmanay celebrations. We’ve been invited to join their ceilidh, which sounds like a fun way to see in the New Year!
We are looking forward to 2018. For us the early part of the year will be focused on hostel maintenance. It’s nice that there aren’t any big projects on the go at the moment. It will be, we hope, just a routine check-up rather than major surgery!
It looks like it’s going to be a cold and snowy winter. If you want to make the most of it come and stay with us at Saddle Mountain Hostel. We are open Thursdays to Mondays over the winter months (up until Easter).
And, until our peak season starts, we’ll be making the most of our Tuesdays and Wednesdays off and quieter days to get out and about walking, cycling and cinema-going.
We’re looking forward to seeing our regulars again next year and to meeting those who come to stay for the first time. In the meantime we’d like to wish you a happy New Year and we hope to see you at Saddle Mountain Hostel in 2018.
