Happy birthday to us! Today, Saturday 21st May 2016, Saddle Mountain Hostel is celebrating its first birthday.
It’s been quite a year for us. Last May, we were taking an exciting and scary step into the unknown; leaving behind our jobs and home in Inverness. We weren’t entirely sure what we’d let us ourselves in for.
One year on though, we’ve settled into our new lives as hostel owners in Invergarry. It’s a very different lifestyle from before but we’re enjoying working for ourselves and tackling new things!
A big thanks to all the family and friends who helped us to get here. Thanks also to the guests for choosing to stay with us, sharing your stories with us and making our lives more interesting.
We’ll see you here this time next year.
